Recent Question/Assignment

The length of the assignment would be maxim 3000 words (plus -minus 10%). Research report is to be referenced APA/Harvard style (12 front, Times new Roman, 1.5-inch Margin). The structure of the report is open to all however, the standard format of the report would be is as follows:
Introduction
Issues/facts/challenges/ (could be categories/sub categories)
Suggestions/recommendation to way out the issues
Concluding remarks
Students are advised to discuss with unit coordinator/lecturer about the detail structure and procedure for research report preparation.
Late submission: Late submission will not be accepted without prior permission from unit coordinator. 10% marks will be deducted for each day late submission.
There will be a Urkund (Plagiarism software) submission link on the LMS. Please be mindful about the originality of the writings and plagiarism guidelines of the Murdoch University.
Online Mid-Semester Test (20%)
There will be a 60-minute multiple choice and short answer mid-semester test. Topics covered will be up to and including the session 4 lecture (Fair value). Please ensure that you are on time for the lecture on that day so that the test can be started promptly, and you give yourself the maximum amount of time to complete the test. Any students unable to attend the test will be given a zero mark for this assessment. If students are unwell and unable to sit the test, they must provide a medical certificate and the marks for the mid-semester will be added to their final exam. There will be no makeup or deferred mid-semester test.
Final Examination (50%)
The final examination will be of 2 hours’ duration and held in the two-week examination period at the end of the semester. The exam will be a closed book examination.
The University requires that all students sitting end-of-semester examinations (including those held off-campus) must show their Murdoch University Student Card to facilitate photographic identification. No other form of identification will be accepted.
Students may inspect their marked examination scripts and discuss the marking with the Unit Coordinator (Degree Regulation 43). Students may appeal against the final result in the unit within 15 working days of the posting of results (Degree Regulation 49).
PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS DO NEED TO PASS THE FINAL EXAM TO PASS THE UNIT.
