Assessment Task 2: Report on the Role of HRM

Weighting: 35%
Length: 2000 words ± 10% (including executive summary, introduction, headings and subheadings, recommendations and conclusion; but excluding title page, reference list and appendixes)

Students are then to complete a brief individual reflection that addresses the challenge of working in a group and their key communication learnings.
This assessment consists of 3 components.
1.Oral presentation (20%) — 10-15 minutes maximum - due Friday, 16th December, 2016 at 2PM AEST.
All students will record their presentation and on-campus students will also deliver their presentation in class after the due date for immediate feedback from staff and fellow students. All recorded presentations are to be uploaded via Moodle prior to Friday of Week 5 at 2PM.
2.Written report (20%) — 1,000 words maximum - due Friday, 23rd December, 2016 at 2PM AEST
Analysis of the communication model in terms of the theoretical components possibly including aspects such as spelling and grammar checking, proof reading and presenting a professional looking report depending on your initial topic.
Reports are to be uploaded via Moodie prior to Friday of Week 6 at 2PM.
3.Individual reflection (10%) - due Friday 13th January, 2017 at 2PM AEST.
Reflection of your learning based on feedback received from your presentation. All students will reflect upon the feedback received from their report and presentation and add a comment on their personal growth based on the feedback
