Please download the eTask3 spreadsheet from Canvas and save the eTask spread as an Excel file. The main content of the force method is taught in Lectures 6,7&8.

eTask3.1 is a 1-fold statically indeterminate problem and eTask3.2 is a 2-fold statically indeterminate problem.

You need to complete the eTask and upload to Canvas before the due date. Two files must be submitted through Canvas: the eTask3 spreadsheet that includes answers (an excel file named “eTask3_”+studentID+”.xlsm”) and the eTask3 report that includes your working-out (a pdf file named “eTask3_”+studentID+”.pdf”). The eTask3 spreadsheet is marked by using a computer program based on your answers only (worth 4 marks). The eTask3 report will be mainly marked based on the method and working-out manually (worth 16 marks).

The eTask3 report needs to include the worked solutions, such as the method, the necessary drawings, equilibrium equations etc. Your student number should be at the bottom of each page.
