Task Description Photo Narrative For this assessment, you will be required to discuss your views about nursing as a profession, using an image to illustrate your discussion. The purpose of this task is for you to think about and articulate your response to this topic and demonstrate your ability to write in an academic format. Directions: 1. Choose one image (this may be a photograph or other illustration) that you believe illustrates the role of the nurse and/or their place in society, and insert this in your Word document. 2. Provide a short narrative to explain what the image means to you and why you believe it is a good representation of the profession of nursing. Please write in the first person, as this is a personal narrative.
Assessment Criteria Measures Intended Learning Outcome:
Criterion 1 Explain how the chosen image illustrates your understanding of the role of the nurse in contemporary society. ILO2, ILO3
Criterion 2 Write a short narrative piece that provides a logical and persuasive discussion. ILO3
