Topic Proposal for Term Paper/Project
On larger scale operations, there is a need to physically visualize the components of an enterprise network. Due to constant changes in variables and demands on a network, a visualization tool can be used to help manage said network. A non-static map of a computer network is ideal to manage changes such as service, data routes and locations. To grasp the importance of visualization, Beautiful Visualizations will be used as a reference. I will also be using the ThinkMap service manual and software in order to create mock network visualization. I will use database software to create nodes of data to represent nodes on a network and ThinkMap will be used to visualize that data. The research paper will contain detailed steps on how I created solutions to the problems of managing changing variables on a large scale enterprise network.
