Assessment Task
Create a storyboard to detail the findings of your critical analysis of the given case study.
This assessment allows you to express your creativity in considering the communications needs of stakeholders by presenting the findings of your detailed critical analysis and evaluation of the stated problem in an easily read and understood visual format, which influences these stakeholders in support of your findings and recommendations. You will supplement the images with supporting written documents.

Context
As a Project Manager, you will often need to communicate your ideas or your recommendations to your Stakeholders in a short, detailed way that they will easily and quickly understand. Status reports are often presented as a visual dashboard, containing charts that are based on project-based data and underlying data links.
The Storyboard is a visual tool whose initial design has been credited to Walt Disney Studios in the 1930s (Finch, 1975). The storyboard is now used within projects and business environments to visually represent the project vision, design the project outcomes or to communicate complicated data or information. Key items and conclusive data can be shown on the storyboard, and external links will be available to access supporting documents.
Your stakeholders for this assessment are time-poor and need to be able to make a decision based on a single page which presents the key findings and recommendations, but which also provides supporting information via embedded documents links. You will therefore analyse the problem posed by your selected topic and will prepare a storyboard which will visually answer the problem. You will also prepare a word document to provide detailed clarification of the images within the storyboard and embed this as an object within the storyboard, so that the Stakeholder (Learning Facilitator) can open and read your supporting details.

Instructions
To complete this assessment, you must:
1. Select one (1) case study from the three case studies provided for this assessment.
2. Ensure that you have reviewed the materials from Modules 5, Agile, Agile Approaches, and Module 6, Project Performance Domains and Project Management Principles, as well as any additional resources you may find relevant and that will add value to your outcomes.
3. Create a Storyboard for your selected Case Study.
Your Storyboard should encompass a practical approach in addressing the following requirements.
? Consider and critically analyse your selected case study through the lens of the application of any relevant theories discovered and discussed in Modules 5 and 6.
? Evaluate the current project management approach within the selected case study and recommend relevant improvements that will ensure that the project delivers value to the stakeholders and organisation.
? Develop a Storyboard, including a logical flow of images that will demonstrate your findings and recommendations.
? Prepare a written report that will support your findings and recommendations and insert this document into the Storyboard.
? You should consider your audience and how much time they will have to understand the Storyboard, when deciding on the graphic images which you will use.
4. Storyboard and report structure
The storyboard will consist of the following structure:
? One (1) single PowerPoint slide containing graphic images detailing your findings and recommendations. The slide should contain between 4 and 6 images, each of which displays a part of the story you are detailing. You should download and view the Sample Storyboard from the Assessments page.
? A Header Textbox, which contains the Storyboard Title, Student Name and ID, Learning Facilitator name, Word Count, and Date Submitted.
? A Report that is inserted into the Storyboard as an Object. To insert the Report into the Storyboard, you should:
? Select the Insert menu and select Object.
? Select Create from file and select Browse to locate your Report file.
? Select the Report file and click OK.
? Select Display as Icon. ? Click OK.
The Report will support the images within the Storyboard and consist of the following structure:
? Title page containing the Title of the Report, Student Name, Student ID, Learning
Facilitator name, Word Count, and Date Submitted
? Executive Summary providing the summary of your report, and summarising your findings and your recommendations
? Table of Content with the structure of your report, including page number and headings
? Introduction detailing the background and specific area of theory addressed in the Storyboard
? Body of the Report detailing your findings and elaborating on specific images within the Storyboard
? Conclusion, detailing your recommendations and elaborating on the recommendations image within the Storyboard
? References listing all references cited within the Report and Storyboard, including references for each of the selected images
5. Format of the Storyboard and report
? The Storyboard should be created using MS PowerPoint software.
? The Storyboard images may need to be compressed to ensure that the file size is compatible with the TUA LMS.
? The report should use Calibri or Arial 11-point font, be line spaced at 1.5 for ease of reading, and have page numbers on the bottom of each page. Your Storyboard will be assessed according to the Assessment Rubric below.

Submit this task via the Assessment link in the main navigation menu in PROJ6017 Integrated Project Management. The Learning Facilitator will provide feedback via the Grade Centre in the LMS portal. Feedback can be viewed in My Grades.
